BI & Reporting Project: The objective of this project was to profile and migrate new and existing data sources into the existing data warehouse. I worked closely with the business to understand their needs and priorities, to develop a plan, and for me to effectively create reusable Datastage jobs. I utilized new and existing frameworks to create and load data assets into the reporting data warehouses.

Data Quality Project: The objective of this project was to provide the business users with detailed reports to assess the quality and percentage of data loaded into the data warehouse. I used reusable and customized datastage jobs to provide counts of missing rows on source or target, data mismatches, and samples of these errors.

BP Oil Spill: I provided on-site management and support for the Gulf Coast project to ensure all transportation, storage, and disposal of MC252 waste was handled in a safe and compliant manner. DLB Project: My role on the DLB project was to design, develop, maintain and administer automated continuous integration, regression, hardware, software, and unit tests for the Diamond Logic Builder application. DLB is a service tool used by vehicle technicians. It is a desktop swing based application, the core of which is based on SAE messages. DLB is also used to program the Body Controller and other vehicle modules with new features. This tool is also used to keep track of programming history by sending the information back to the server through web services. Development was on an Agile SCRUM team.

Hyperion is a web based configuration tool used by engineers to create, configure and maintain the electrical system features like multiplexers, slots, etc., for vehicles during and after production. It generates the configuration files as XML which is used by manufacturing lines and DLB for programming the body controller and other modules included on the vehicle. Development was on a Agile SCRUM team.

CS180: Severed as an evening lab consultant for the freshman Java programming class. I held open officer hours from 8:00pm to midnight 2-3 nights a week where students could work on their projects and ask for help. Two senior students worked in parallel of assist with normal coursework, answer questions, or help prepare students for upcoming exams.

CS158: Served as a lab teaching assistant for 2 weekly 2 hour labs. In this position I prepared a lesson plan involving a 30 minute lecture over important topics, followed by a weekly programming assignment. During the lab time I assisted with questions and problems. I also prepared a 5 minute weekly quiz. During my out of class time, I graded coursework for the approximately 80 students in my sections. In addition I prepared a script to automate the process of extracting grading results and e-mail individual grade results to students in a timely manner.

Software Verification: I manually verified that a C++ code based projects adhered to predefined and industry coding standards and tracked progress using advanced Excel spreadsheets.

Protein Structure Prediction:

I participated in a Bioinformatics research project where I developed an automated procedure for interpreting input data input to calculate and determine the structure and function of proteins based on interactions and amino acid residues. From start to completion I was given the opportunity to research and choose technology best suited to the task at hand.

Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS):

Spring 2005

I worked closely on a team with a corporate partner, Lafayette Adult Resource Academy (LARA), to develop an integrated computer-toy to aid in the process of learning English as a second language in children. We embedded RFID tags in common children's toys and built a database of known toys. Then we built a series of children's games around this idea.

NASA - AAE Purdue:

I led a team of programmers to aid an AAE research team in their endeavors to map the US transportation network and develop a system of UAV delivery system. We developed a series of graphical simulations to track migration habits, travel habits, and a possible node-based delivery system.

I assisted with data input and interpretation from a series of data collection sources involved in a child's life.
